In my three weeks at Shoreline Health and Rehabilitation Center, I have received extraordinarily supportive care from a well-educated staff, who genuinely care about their patients. I have improved more rapidly than I expected as a result of excellent nutrition, appropriate exercise, and cheerful service. I would recommend Shoreline Health and Rehab to any among my dearest loved ones.
Wonderful site
If you could list every requirement to make a SNF perfect, this place would have every single one. We are very, very thankful for their care.
Every single person he or I have met or had dealings with from the Administrator himself through the office staff, nursing staff, therapists, and extending to janitorial and housekeeping is exemplary. The residents are pleasant, happy, and friendly.I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could, and only hope that if I ever need to stay in a Skilled Nursing Facility, my relatives choose here.
Easily the best Rehab facility in the area! The hospital gave us a list with a bunch of different options so we toured all the facilities and I was so surprised how nice Shoreline's facility was and the kindness of the staff. They really listen to your concerns and the remodel they did is amazing. The rooms are like hotel rooms and my mom, who is normally picky with food, loved the food at Shoreline. Thank you Shoreline for saving my Mom's life!
My husband required rehab in a Skilled Nursing Facility during recovery from pelvic fractures. He had brief stints at two other facilities, with poor results from both, until I found Shoreline Health and Rehabilitation. He has been at Shoreline for almost three months and every day he has been there I have felt secure that he is getting excellent care. From the moment he arrived at Shoreline, I realized that this place is special. The intake was thorough and professional, and things only got better from there. The staff is knowledgable and friendly, their demeanor caring and pleasant. You can just tell they love their jobs, and they love their residents. The skill of nursing, aides, and therapists is extremely high. I do not feel the need to personally go there and check on him daily, as I know he is getting great care, both from the medical staff and the therapists. He actually said he LOVES it there! I can see the happiness in him, and how comfortable he is there. He is motivated to work with the therapies, and is proud of his accomplishments.
The comments here were so touching to read to both me and my son and before closing I wanted to acknowledge the last comment by DM who wrote about her husband that was there at Shoreline getting rehab and recovering from pelvic fractures, and I believe this is Robert being referred to here and he and his wife really enjoyed my ukulele playing while I was up there and singing and I just wanted to say "hi" to him and his wife and I am truly wishing Bob well and the very best during and after his recovery.
They explained every little detail of what was going on completely from the time I arrived so that I knew what was happening and I always felt I was being kept informed of everything pertaining to my health care treatment there. And there were always meetings every few weeks or so where the family, nurses, therapists as well as myself could each bring up things that needed to be discussed and arrange a plan for what to do next depending on what the situation called for. Tracy the Social Services director is a very thorough and detailed person who cares greatly about the well being and improvement of all the patients there, and is a good motivator and encourager of progress being made and so your accomplishments will always be recognized and applauded here from all members of the staff. From the therapists including Blake, Donald, Mi, Jean and many others to the aides and nurse that last were assigned to me incl Jon, Ibrihim, Shu Shea & Masika and also the live piano and harmonica music they had which varies between every two to four weeks was sure a nice treat as well, and every one of these talented people truly lifted my spirits and helped me get better even faster than I would have otherwise!
Hello, my name is Darlene and I was at Shoreline Rehab Center for three months until this past June after first being released from the hospital following having the flu very badly in Feb '17 when I was admitted there first initially. However I was still very sick and weak and also battling different infections and lung & respiratory and breathing issues as well as CHF and needed a good place to go to do therapy and rehab after my stay in the hospital to continue with my care and to improve and keep getting better which took a long time at first as I was quite ill. Shoreline Health & Rehabilitation Center and skilled nursing places in general was all very new to me and I was quite apprehensive at first about the whole process not being able to go home right after leaving the hospital, as I was just still too sick and weak to manage even the simplest things, so if this is your first time also like it was mine just know you will be in very good hands and you owe it to yourself to get the best of care which you will receive here and having the feeling of an extended family by the love and caring of all the people who work @ Shoreline Health and Rehabilitation Center have for their patients. They are always willing and glad to do whatever they can to make each of the residence feel comfortable and well cared for with their specific needs and address any other issues efficiently whenever they may arise.
If you could picture the perfect SNF, this place would be it.
There are activities planned, and on special occasions (which seem to be quite frequent), they have special events like barbeques and chili feeds, and other fun get togethers. The Administrator himself helps serve at these festivities - even on holidays!
And to the wonderful Administrator Jackson who was closely involved with many aspects of my care and even visited me in the hospital when I had to go in for breathing and heart related issues. He was genuinely concerned how I was doing and it was so nice to see a friendly and familiar face checking on me as well as my family. This will always be my first choice to go besides my regular doctors for my medical related short or long term needs, and I give all of the head staff, nurses and therapists as well as many of the aides a 5 star and you are all always in my thoughts and prayers :-) my son Mark is posting this for me thx for reading
