I'm hesitant to shed light on this underused place. Some amazing trails with up and down hill. Some run by a creek and ends up at a small pond. The wildlife and scenery is unbeatable. One of my new found favorite parks to take the kids. The playground is excellent too.
It's a beautiful getaway in the middle of the city. If you need an escape from the busy traffic take a little hike. You'll feel like you are out in the middle of the forest.
Awesome park with lots of different trails to go for a nice smaller hike on. My girlfriend especially loves going to the small lake and feeding all of the ducks. They are extremely friendly and will walk right up to you and eat out of your hand.
Beautiful little park. Good for hiking with small children. Very dog friendly. Only complaint is the city hasn't repaired some of the trails that have been washed out recently.
Great place to stroll with your dog, partner, child, or alone. Some big trees to see as you get further in the forest. Read the signs to understand the important updates to the park after flooding in 2007.
