Between myself and my wife we have probably rented from John more than a hundred times. We can always get a good car at a decent price. He has always treated us well.
I rented two cars from here for the weekend.
John helped us find the two cars that we needed. The people working here are amazing if I am in Washington again and need a car this is the only place I will go to.
May I give zero stars? I suspect most of these reviews are fake done by the actual staff or owners of this place. My family was scammed here. We made a phone reservation for $400 for x days, and then when we went to pick up the car, they wouldn't give it to us at that price and instead tried to charge us $1,300! How many people have they pulled this scam on? We're reporting them to Avis Corporate.
John was very helpful and took great care of us while we were in Seattle for the week. When we had an issue with our reserved vehicle, he swapped it with another, nicer vehicle with no hassle. When we noticed a scratch on the door after getting to our first destination, we called John to get it documented and he made sure it wouldn't be an issue. It's refreshing to know that excellent customer service still exists!
Reserved a car and pre-paid in full 3 weeks in advance. Arrived on time to pick up the car and no car was available. No car on the lot at all. This is a very small Avis located in a Sears store. I do not recommend renting a car at this location. The manager, John Wesley, was not helpful. No compensation, or even an apology, was offered. Eventually we had to drive into downtown Seattle to a different Avis location to get a car. It was a Sunday and the Pride parade was happening. Logistical nightmare. Very disappointing. Do not rent a car from this location.
