Terrible police officers. Treated me like animal despite my total compliance. Had a panuc attack in the holding cell and all the guards did was watch, mock me, and threaten me. I will be pressing charges.
UPDATE: Worthless Rude Police dont bother calling them, multiple bad experiences. No wonder every one in Shoreline hates the Police. I have been a victim of Shoreline Police abuse and excessive force a few times, costing me over $50,000.00 in legal fees and several polygraphs to prove an officer lied, and finally win my case in court. That officer was never held accountable for his actions. ALWAYS VIDEO RECORD YOUR EXPERIENCES WITH POLICE AND ALWAYS HAVE A LAWYER YOU TRUST TO DEAL WITH THE CORRUPT COPS STILL EMPLOYED IN SHORELINE. I have witnessed 3 occasions of Shoreline Police harassing good citizens because of race, or status, or profiling. I have personally witnessed Shoreline Police threaten people with physical force and lie to say they will create false charges against innocent people, and each time the Police are NEVER held accountable. NEVER GIVE AN OFFICER YOUR NAME OR ANY INFORMATION UNLESS YOUR BEING CHARGED WITH A CRIME. RESERVE YOUR RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT AND ASK FOR YOUR LAWYER, Its your rights at stake here folks. I recorded the whole incident on my cell phone and you should too if you ever have this kind of experience. I also witnessed Officer Wu illegally detain and erase all my video footage of him threatening me and stating he would charge me with a crime if I refused to cooperate with him, after winning my case in court he was never held accountable for his actions either. He even forced his way into my home with out a warrant or any reason to charge anyone with a crime. An Officer even tried to testify against me by phone in court before winning my case. I took polygraphs to prove he lied and that Officer was never held accountable for his actions either. My neighbors and family have witnessed this kind of behavior as well, and again I took polygraphs that cost thousands to prove what happened and the Officers are still not held accountable to this day. On 3 other occasions I have had positive experiences with Shoreline Police doing there job correctly to keep the community safe. If its a traffic, minor theft, or suspicious activity they usually respond when they have time and are usually helpful. I have had mixed experiences as most people do. Like most people we fear calling police for help because of the reputation they have for violating peoples rights every day, and being violent toward good people, but if you have witnesses and can video record your interactions I suggest doing so. I find most police in Shoreline to be pretty good, calm, polite, and helpful, however I have also had horrible experiences too; people need to get the courage to speak up when there are bad apples or nothing will change. The new Police Sergeant Heather is kind and understanding on the phone when I made a civil complaint about an Officer by phone.
On 6/28/17 I was in a car accident at Dayton and 150th in Shoreline. I am 61 and it was the first time I have ever been in a serious accident. The car I was driving was totaled. The young woman that hit me was taken away by ambulance, but thanks to my Vovlo airbags I have some major bruising and aches and pains, but I will be fine. At the time of the accident my adrenaline was high, and I was scared and confused. It was my good fortune to have Police Officer Christopher B. Kieland (badge 69228) take me under his wing. There were several people asking me a lot of questions that made me anxious, but as long as I had Officer Kieland in my line of sight I felt okay. He was very busy at the scene, but I kept track of where he was because I knew if I needed help he would assist me. I know he isn't aware of the comforting role he played for me. His kindness and professionalism was reassuring. Here it is three days later, and it feels important that I thank Officer Kieland and let everyone know how grateful I am. Thank you Officer Kieland - not just from me, but from my family too.
Gr8 place for pizza.
