So uncomfortable to have a working professional ask about your personal life when it has nothing to do with the answer he will give you.
My boyfriend asked if he could pick a package up for me as we live at the same address and I worked all day. They started interrogating him, "why can't she pick it up? When does she get off work? Does she work on Saturday? We're open on Saturday" and then "no, you can't pick it up for her, she has to be the one to come in"
This is the worst post office I have ever been to. When you walk in there's never enough staff at the front counter . I received a notice to come pick up mail that requires a signature and they could not locate the mail. The representative at the counter looked like he was 65 and he could barely see anything. I have nothing against older people working but your personal mail is important and having people who can't properly do the job is not fair to customer's. They should close this location
Went for a passport application. Called several days in advance, received a lot of detailed information on what I would need to bring in, most of which turned out to be incorrect when I was there in person. To make matters worse, when I was given a different form to fill out, this ALSO turned out to be the wrong form. The employee I dealt with was rude, poorly informed, unapologetic, and clearly disinterested in being helpful. I've never had a worse experience at a post office.
Never picks up the phone. Super rude to each question you ask. I feel like they just don't care in general.
At least one of our package carriers doesn't seem to know where our address is. Twice this month we've had properly-addressed packages out for delivery, only to be marked in the system as "undeliverable as addressed" at 5:01pm, then returned to the senders. The USPS main phoneline is ridiculous (45-75 minute wait) but North City simply doesn't answer their phones, period.
Why did he ask all these personal questions about my work schedule?? I raced there after work (he had commented that I could make it before they closed) and got there at 5:32, closed.
